**_ The role_**
- _ Development of high-quality proposals while managing risk exposure to the business leveraging existing technical capability within LR and external capability integral to supporting and delivering the value propositions._
- _ To manage projects within a discipline and ensure they are in accordance with quality system requirements, cost structures, and budgetary/contractual requirements._
- _ To assess/recommend the time/value of the work to be undertaken for an internal/external client within an agreed fee/cost structure._
- _ Manage technical and commercial aspects of bid development and project delivery while drawing in expertise from our global LR group._
- _ Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards._
- _ To pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge, and awareness._
- _ To make recommendations based on internal/external client feedback to assist in service delivery improvement and to help build the business._
- _ To provide specialist support/advice within a discipline to internal/external clients._
- _ To produce the deliverable within the agreed broad parameters in an appropriate format and take responsibility for reviewing other employee’s work as appropriate._
- _ To discuss/present the deliverable with the internal/external client up to the senior_**_ _**_level and be able to suggest alternative solutions where appropriate._
- _ Improve service delivery by communicating internal/external client feedback as appropriate._
- _ Develop sustainability key performance indicators, strategies, and management plans for planning and designing projects and implement them throughout the project duration._
- _ Support business development with opportunity identification, proposal development, direct and indirect marketing, and thought leadership._
- _ Undertake administration as required in line with current processes and procedures._

**_ What you bring_**
- _ A bachelor's degree (or master's degree is preferred) from a recognized institution within the relevant field of engineering or business._
- _ An expert advisor / Subject Matter Expert in in Container Ports for a full spectrum of design, engineering, operations, risk management, governance, policies, commissioning, and decommissioning of port assets. Knowledge of Dry/Liquid Bulk Port Terminals, Cruise Terminals, and/or Shipyards would be an added advantage._
- _ Industry expert in the discipline with exposure to various Ports stakeholders_
- _ Minimum 15 years of industry experience, at least 7 years of experience in best-in-class consulting & advisory firms._
- _ Membership of appropriate professional institution._
- _ Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status is preferred._
- _ Experience in Ports comprehensive risk management, community Impact, operational, navigation safety, and Critical Infrastructure studies._
- _ Experience conducting analysis (desktop research, data analysis, reviewing documents, interviewing, etc.) and synthesizing into digestible outputs (e.g., reports, presentations)._
- _ Exposure to Environmental Sustainability and Regulatory Compliance related to various Ports model_
- _ Experience in Port planning assessment for consideration of operations in a green environment, Ports Master Plan development & logistics analysis_
- _ Exposure to Port capacity assessment, congestion management, digital assessment, and automation. _
- _Exposure to Port energy transition, decarbonization strategy, green port infrastructure, and technology integration _
- _Provide expert guidance in selecting the best investments and technical solutions for port operations and infrastructure_
- _ Experience working in a ‘Seller-Doer’ environment with a consultative selling skillset._
- _ Experience in the development of complex technical reports in line with local/regional regulatory requirements and international best practices._
- _ Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, (additional languages preferred)_
- _ Ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients._
- _ Strong facilitation skills that are adaptable to different situations and communication styles. Experience with creating business development materials to support projects._
