A leading global law firm is seeking a Practice Assistant to support its Dubai office with billing, legal administration, and business development (BD) support. This role involves working closely with partners, finance teams, and BD professionals ensuring efficient practice management and client engagement.

This role is only open to candidates who have support working as a Legal Secretary / Legal Executive Assistant for International Law firms.

Salary AED 25,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

Billing & Financial Administration:

Collaborate with partners and finance teams to manage invoicing and billing processes.

Prepare and amend invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client agreements.

Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), client charge rates, and financial reporting.

Assist with matter management, including opening, updating, and closing cases.

Legal & Administrative Support:

Manage partner diaries, coordinate client meetings across time zones, and handle scheduling.

Maintain client contact details and relationship management systems.

Assist in document preparation, formatting legal materials, and PowerPoint presentations.

Handle conflict checks, engagement letters, and compliance with internal risk policies.

Business Development & Marketing Support:

Support BD initiatives, bids, and pitch preparations, ensuring high-quality submissions.

Assist with client events, coordinating logistics, invitations, and communications.

Update partner CVs, credentials, directories, and awards submissions.

Work with design teams on marketing materials, including brochures and ranking tables.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in a law firm with strong knowledge of legal billing and administrative processes.

Highly organized and proactive, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Strong communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Proficiency in legal and financial management systems such as Intapp, iManage, and InterAction is an advantage.
