We are seeking a motivated and experienced Academic Coach to provide support to college students in achieving their academic goals. The Academic Coach will work with students individually or in groups to develop effective study strategies, time management skills, and goal-setting techniques. The Academic Coach will also collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure students have access to appropriate academic resources and support services.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with students to identify their academic goals and develop a plan to achieve them
  • Provide individual and group coaching sessions to develop effective study skills, time management, and goal-setting techniques
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure students have access to appropriate academic resources and support services
  • Monitor student progress and adjust coaching strategies as needed
  • Develop and implement workshops and training sessions for students on study skills and other academic success strategies
  • Participate in student outreach and retention efforts
  • Stay up-to-date on trends and changes in academic coaching practices and regulations

Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in education, counseling, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in academic coaching or counseling
  • Knowledge of effective study skills, time management, and goal-setting techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with academic support services and resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and academic coaching software
