JOBPURPOSE:

To manage and grow largeaccount portfolios and client relationships for assigned portfolioin the CBG segment; improve service quality levels and supervisethe subordinates daytoday activities and client interactions toensure that the objectives are constantly met and its revenuetargets achieved while maintaining client satisfaction andportfolio creditquality.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Participatein the financial analysis conducted on clients and their respectiveindustries/ markets to identify potential opportunities andrisks.
  • Originate new business opportunitieswith target clients across bankingproducts
  • Develop Term Sheet InformationMemorandum mandate letter ETC
  • Examine &resolve credit market and operational risk aspects of thetransactions in collaboration with products and enablementunits.
  • Pitch review negotiate and concludedeals .
  • Maintain the credit quality of theclients relationships within the Portfolio to an acceptable levelset by the Banks management
  • Identify &develop cross selling opportunities and increase the crosssellratio with key clients.
  • Ensure Account Plansare prepared and maintained for all keyclients
  • Ensure all credit reviews are submittedon time and agreed conditions are met
  • Maintaina satisfactory audit on the portfolio
  • Ensurethat all internal processes for existing portfolio and NTBs are metin line with the Banks policies &procedures
  • Assist the Unit Head / Line Managerin the daytoday administrative and transactional activities such asclient calls documentation follow up updating pipeline and anyother activities in the unit/team to ensure continuity of work andthe delivery of effective and high qualityoutputs
  • Manage and follow up on KYC andcompliance requirements in order to ensure consistency with theBanks KYC and AML policies and regulatoryrequirements.
  • Follow all relevant policiesprocesses standard operating procedures and instructions so thatwork is carried out in a controlled and consistentmanner
  • Assist in the preparation of timely andaccurate statements and reports to meet the units requirementspolicies andstandards

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree inFinance or related discipline

Masters degree inBusiness Administration ispreferred.

MinimumExperience:

810 years ofexperience in corporate banking(coverage).

Knowledge Skills andAttributes:

Knowledge of thebanking sector and FABs products and businessstrategies

Ability to work under pressure andadjust quickly to changing priorities

Computerproficiency

Ability to analyse and researchinformation

Banking software systemsproficiency

Data analysis and financial modellingskills

Credit analysis and FOREXskills
