As Reservations Agent you are expectedto:

  • Maintain effective officeadministrative procedures
  • Adhere to allStandard Operating Procedures. 
  • Takepersonal responsibility for driving upselling and achieving setrevenue targets by months.
  • Be fully aware atall times of the Selling Strategy rates packages groups and bookingstatus of the hotel.
  • Process and respond within24 hours to all reservation requests and inquiries according tocompany standards.
  • Handle daily trace/followupreports according to departmentalrequirements.
  • Check expected arrivals 1 3 and 7days prior according to SOP and reconfirmbookings.
  • within the department that willsafeguard and detect doublebookings nonguaranteed bookings filingerrors and other inaccuracies.
  • Understand andapply hotel policies for noshows cancellations credit andprepayment policies.
  • To be up to date withcurrent information and data on the hotel product including roomtypes rates relative features and facilities food and beverageoutlets & promotion spa and health club and other servicesand facilities.
  • Take personal responsibilityfor maximizing quality levels of product and service andguest satisfaction.  Ensure all issues relating to guestsatisfaction are raised monitored and followed up on a timelybasis.
  • Monitor daily arrivals by ensuring allguest requests are carried out all realistic expectations are metand reservations arehonored.

Qualifications:

  • At leasttwo years of experience in the Front Office orReservations department
  • Familiarity with hoteloperations available technology (PMS & RMS) and alldistribution channels.
  • Understand the dynamicsof regional & local markets local competitors anddestination events.
  • Additional language is anadvantage preferably ArabicSpeaker
