Purpose of the job:

To strengthen TV and AV product management and marketing capability. To closely develop/monitor/expand the business in the market. Support Sales, Marketing and Product Management teams in various aspects of Product and Marketing Management for the said category.

Key Objectives:

The candidate will help CTV/AV Sales Group to setup the product strategy for the SGE Sales territory whilst ensuring best model selection & line up strategy to help achieve the company's sales and brand objectives. The job requires effective performance in the areas of Pricing Management, Supply Chain Management, and Product Sales & Marketing support and Product Training.

Position Responsibilities:
The successful applicant is responsible for:

  1. Product line-up study and comparison analysis with competition.
  2. Maintain Key Product Management Tools: Roadmap, Specification, Competitor Feature Comparison analysis, Price Positioning Matrix, Display Guideline, SDA Channel breakdown.
  3. Model selection and Product Strategy.
  4. Price positioning study and recommend pricing.
  5. Tactical promotion planning, development and execution to meet sales and profit targets.
  6. Collect the market feedback on the running and new launched products to ensure an on-time reaction.
  7. Maintain PSI for assigned product category, at a category level.
  8. Setup and execution of a full Product training program for all involved parties of the channel.
  9. Set up short term and long term training schedule.
  10. Carry out daily / weekly training schedule.
  11. Market research studies for the product categories.
  12. Market Sensing: Analysis of Sell Out, Sell Through data to determine pricing and sales strategies.
  13. Develop expert knowledge of product category and become specialist within organization for said product segment and industry.
  14. Marketing Activities and Reporting.

Essential skills and experience:

Experience, Education and Licensure:

Bachelor/Master degree in marketing. With minimum 5 years experience in Product or Marketing Manager Role, preferably in CTV and Audio Visuals business or other Electronics products.

Should have a tech background or should be a tech enthusiast so that the person is up to date on market trends.

Demonstrates a high level of organization and quality with multitasking efficiency & priority setting.

Understanding of the local market is required hence local experience will be preferred.

Computer literacy with good presentation skills is a must.

Should be able to travel throughout the GCC region on a regular basis.

Computer literate and Advanced user of MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Self starter being able to work under minimum supervision.

Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Assertive, determined, flexible and creative personality.

Language Skills:
English. Working knowledge of Arabic preferable but not essential.
