Cygnet One ( is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to lead our VAT and tax compliance sales in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VAT and tax compliance sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth for VAT and tax compliance sales in the UAE market.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends to shape sales initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Work extensively with remote teams in India.
  • Drive pipeline generation, lead nurturing, and deal closure to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Strategy, and Product Development, to ensure alignment in messaging and go-to-market strategies.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Inside sales team for lead generation and campaign management.
  • Build a deep understanding of the UAE VAT market, including competitive landscape and customer pain points.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including enterprise clients and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop strategies to upsell and cross-sell VAT and tax compliance solutions to existing customers.
Revenue and Forecasting
  • Own revenue targets and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Optimize pricing models and contract negotiations to maximize profitability.
Client Engagement and Support
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, understanding their business needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Drive long-term relationships by ensuring exceptional post-sale support and engagement.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience (5-8 years) in VAT and tax compliance or SaaS sales.
  • Deep understanding of the UAE VAT and tax compliance market, with a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Exceptional track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong knowledge of sales methodologies and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot, etc).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach.
  • Resident of UAE based in Dubai.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Bachelor's in computer science or any related software field.
  • Past experience of working with consulting firms will be an added advantage.
  • Past experience of selling VAT and tax compliance, SaaS solutions or ERP is a must.
  • Experience in managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
