As an Executive Sous Chef you will be secondin command and report directly to the Executive Chef. As such youmust be intimately familiar with all the activities involved inkitchen operations and be prepared to step in and cover alleventualities if called upon. You will need to be able to prepareand cook a wide range of international dishes including FrenchItalian and fusion cooking. The Executive Sous Chef is alsoresponsible for overseeing the kitchen team members which willinvolve preparing scheduling and delivering training managing teammember performance ensuring that the kitchen safety standards areup to date and that team members are complying with health safetyand sanitation rules. Additionally you will help with menu planninginventory control and supplymanagement.
Qualifications :
College degree in HotelManagement or related culinary degree
At least 3 years ofindustry and culinary management experience
Previousexperience training team members in large quantity foodpreparation.
Excellent knowledge of quality foodoperations.
Passion for leadership and teamwork
Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence
Excellent guest serviceskills
