Role Overview

The Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365CE) AnalystProgrammer is a member of our clients Microsoft Business Solutionscustomer delivery team of D365CE centred solutions. The developerwill assist in delivering the technical implementation and designof D365CE solutions. They will be working with both onshore andoffshore development teams. The developer will also be involved inthe development of integration solutions between D365CE and variousthirdparty legacy systems for their clients. The developer willhave extensive experience with .Net JavaScript development forD365CE. They should be aware of best practices across thedevelopment lifecycle including code management test methodologiesand build processes.

Requirements

  • A University graduate with relevant degreewithin a computing or business discipline
  • AMicrosoft Dynamics Customer Engagement Certification (or365)
  • Minimum 3 years experience working withMicrosoft Dynamics Customer Engagement / CRM Online or365
  • Minimum 3 years handson experiencedesigning and developing D365CE extensions such as plugins customworkflows and JavaScript as well as application security HTMLActions and APIs
  • A good understanding of bestpractices for .Net Development including code management control) unit testing methodologies and build processes
  • Experience in D365CE ConfigurationCustomisation standard workflows dashboards forms views andstandard reports development is amust
  • Knowledge and understanding of all CRMfunctional areas including Sales Marketing Customer Service FieldService and Professional Services
  • Anunderstanding of the Dynamics 365 Common Data Model and Common DataService including customising or extending them for differentsolutions
  • Fundamental understanding andexperience working on Power Platform stack especially Power Apps& Power Automate
  • D365CE IntegrationDevelopment using supporting Microsoft technologies such as CommonData Service Flow Logic Apps and Azure Service Bus
  • Experience in using Azure DevOps (VSTS) forsource control
  • Experience in using andconfiguring Azure DevOps build and release pipelines
  • Microsoft Power BI development
  • HTML5 Development in line with D365CE
  • Technical knowledge in Microsoft SQL ServerReporting Services (SSRS) Integration Services and AnalysisServices
  • Data migration experience inline withD365CE including best practices around speed and efficiency
  • Experience in using third party tools forD365CE integration and migrations for example Scribe or KingswaySoft SSIS adapters
  • Experience and knowledge ofD365CE Accelerators industry templates and addons as well as ISVsolutions and products commonly used in D365CEprojects
  • Experience working with off/nearshoreteam
  • A proven track record of successfulimplementation of D365CE technological solutions within enterprisecompanies
  • Experience in a deliveryorientated ITenvironment using waterfall and agilemethodologies
  • Technical project documentationexperience especially for work packages to be implemented byoffshore teams

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of highqualitybusiness and software solutions to our clients using your knowledgeof Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities working closely withclient teams and business stakeholders
  • Workalongside the Solution and Technical Architects or SeniorDevelopers to help create high quality design and sustainableclient solutions and projectdocumentation
  • Working in an Agile or Waterfallapproach depending on the business requirements
  • Implementation of technical solutions forcustomer requirements in D365CE
  • Ensuring alldesign/technical documentation is kept up to date during thedevelopment process
  • Development on componentsoutside of the core D365CE platform but within the wider Microsoftstack for example Power BI Logic Apps Azure Service Bus andPowerApps
  • Working with both onshore andoff/nearshore development teams
  • Deliver alldevelopment work as per Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) ProjectMethodology ensuring that all software applications are implementedsuccessfully per the project plan: on time and onbudget
  • Be an active member of technical anddesign working groups within the practice
  • Adhere to best practice and our clientstechnical standards during all development
  • Ensure proper code management takes place forall development work including source control unittesting and codereviews.
  • Working alongside the TechnicalArchitects to implement any agreed strategy for automated buildsand release on projects is in place
  • Communicate progress updates to relevantparties both formally and informally
  • Identifyany risks and issues early and raise through the appropriategovernance channels
  • To carry out additionalduties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed bythe Practice management team
  • Always representour client Microsoft Business Solutions in a professional andpositive manner
