  • Handle queries from suppliers and workclosely with suppliers to ensure the timely submission ofproposals.
  • Assist in price checks and obtainsamples from suppliers.
  • Communicatesout-of-stock concerns to the Buying and Planningteams.
  • Assist in communicating effectively withOperation and Trading Support for promotions and Tradingactivities.
  • Manages and checks PO created inSAP.

Performance andFinancial Goals Achievement

  • Ensures timely and accurate of newstore assortments as well as initial distributions andreplenishment for existing locations
  • Maintainscorrect stock levels by store
  • Meets or exceedssales, gross margin and inventory turngoals.
  • Analyzes and communicates locationperformance, including sales/inventory comparisons, seasonality andmarketing impacts.
  • Develop departmentaldistribution strategies to capture location-based opportunitiesthrough quantifying volume and profit opportunitiesanalysis.
  • Follows product from receipt at theDistribution Centre, to point of allocation and complete receipt atstore level. This is most important at floor setperiods.
  • Generate and review a range analysisreport at the end of each phase/season to share successes and learnfrom any mistakes.

  • Participates in weeklycross-functional meetings to share information on current businessissues
  • Develops knowledge of regional variancesand store attributes and trends through data analysis and fieldcommunication.
