A SeniorSales Manager is responsible for leading andoverseeing the sales strategy and team within an organization. The Senior Sales Manageris tasked with driving sales growth, developing key customerrelationships, and ensuring that the sales team meets or exceedsrevenue targets.

SalesStrategy andPlanning
- Develop andimplement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business goalsand increase revenue.
- Analyze market trends,competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new salesopportunities.
- Create short- and long-termsales plans, setting measurable targets for the salesteam.
- Collaborate with senior management toalign sales strategies with company objectives andgoals.
Team Leadershipand Development
- Lead,manage, and motivate a sales team, ensuring they are equipped tomeet performance targets.
- Provide coaching,mentorship, and training to sales staff, fostering ahigh-performance culture.
- Conduct regularperformance reviews and implement development plans for teammembers.
- Establish clear roles,responsibilities, and expectations within the sales team to driveaccountability.
SalesPerformanceManagement
- Monitor teamperformance, track key sales metrics, and adjust strategies asneeded to meet objectives.
- Set individual andteam targets, ensuring alignment with broader companygoals.
- Regularly review sales reports andanalytics to assess progress and make data-drivendecisions.
- Address performance issues, provideconstructive feedback, and implement corrective actions whennecessary.
CustomerRelationshipManagement
- Build andmaintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, andstakeholders.
- Oversee the development andexecution of tailored sales pitches and proposals for majorclients.
- Ensure high levels of customersatisfaction by addressing concerns and ensuring timelyfollow-up.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, andterms of agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficialoutcomes.
Cross-FunctionalCollaboration
- Workclosely with marketing, product, and customer service teams toensure that the sales team has the support and resources needed tosucceed.
- Provide insights and feedback fromcustomers to influence product development, marketing campaigns,and other business strategies.
- Collaborate withfinance and legal departments on pricing strategies, contractterms, and creditmanagement.
Market andIndustry Analysis
- Keepup-to-date with industry trends, emerging markets, and competitoractivities to remain competitive.
- Conductregular market research to identify new opportunities and informsales strategies.
- Attend industry events,conferences, and networking functions to stay connected with keyplayers in themarket.
Reporting andForecasting
- Prepareregular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for seniormanagement, providing insights into sales performance and marketconditions.
- Analyze sales data to identifypatterns, trends, and potential areas ofimprovement.
- Ensure the accuracy and timelinessof all sales reports, providing actionable insights for strategyrefinement.

- Achievemonthly targets in volume, profit, CSS scores, prospecting, testdrives, and closure rates.
- Implement andoversee a structured sales process for the team, from prospectingto follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with companysales policies and procedures.
- Lead, train, andmotivate sales employees to achieve and exceedtargets.
- Stay updated on vehicle USPs andensure effective presentation by theteam.
- Analyze competitors' productofferings and adapt strategiesaccordingly.
- Assist in car ordering,promotional displays, and marketingcoordination.
- Evaluate employee performance andidentify training needs.
- Prepare daily reportson sales activities, showroom traffic, and stockupdates.
- Coordinate with internal and externalstakeholders, including marketing, finance, andsuppliers.
