Job Description

This role involves assisting the Storekeeper in receiving, storing, and issuing goods. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming goods, verifying their quality and quantity, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will need to monitor stock levels, identify any discrepancies or damage, and take corrective action as needed.

Responsibilities:

  1. Receiving and storing goods in a secure and organized manner
  2. Inspecting incoming goods for quality and quantity
  3. Maintaining accurate records of receipts, issuances, and inventory levels
  4. Monitoring stock levels and identifying any discrepancies or damage
  5. Taking corrective action as needed to ensure accurate inventory levels
  6. Coordinating with suppliers and other departments to resolve any issues related to deliveries or inventory management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
