Job Description

The Act Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and courteous Hotel Ambassador to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Greeting and Escort Service: Ensure that guests are warmly greeted upon arrival and escorted to the lobby, where they will be checked in and made to feel welcome.
  • Car Door Service: Open car doors for arriving and departing guests and provide assistance with their luggage.
  • Hotel Knowledge and Information: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the hotel and its services, and be able to supply information and respond to guest queries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Effective Handover: Ensure that effective handover is done, gaining information from the earlier shift and passing it on to the night shift in conjunction with the Early Shift Leader.
  • Guest Complaints and Problems: Forward all guest complaints or problems to the manager on duty in a timely and professional manner.
  • Transportation Services: Perform any trips and drives with the hotel car/bus as requested, and ensure that airport/crew transportation flow is maintained effectively.
  • Key Control: Control all guests' car keys and ensure that they are stored securely.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the parking spaces and key cabinet, and ensure that cleanliness is to the maximum standard.
  • Public Relations: Establish, promote, and maintain good public relations while meeting or exceeding guest expectations.

Requirements:

  • Smart and Well-Groomed Appearance: Be smart, well-groomed, punctual, and wear a name tag at all times.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills and be able to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
