Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee all activities related to aquaculture, fisheries resource management, facility maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance director to develop and manage capital and operating budgets, and provide quarterly budget tracking reports to stakeholders.
  • Fish Sales and Marketing: Lead the sales team in developing fish sales contracts and ensuring timely deliveries to meet customer demands.
  • Administration and Compliance: Manage all activities related to permitting, insurance, human resources, bylaws, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Agency Coordination: Work closely with authorities to optimize commercial fisheries benefits and ensure the collection of broodstock and cost recovery.
  • Board and Management: Coordinate the activities of the Board of Directors and ensure that they are informed and have access to necessary information.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in aquaculture.
  • Location: Sharjah, UAE (willingness to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package).
