  • Financial Management: Review and utilize financial data to improve profitability, prepare and control operational budgets, and plan effective strategies for project finances.
  • Strategic Input: Liaise with management to develop strategic plans for operational activity and implement project operational plans.
  • Communication: Monitor, manage, and improve the efficiency of support services such as IT, HR, Accounts, and Finance, and facilitate coordination and communication between support functions.
  • Risk Management: Oversee organizational policies, ensure health and safety committee meetings are held, and tasks are assigned.
  • Project Management: Provide strategic oversight, coordination, and maintenance of identified projects, manage day-to-day activities, analyze statistics, and read and write reports.
  • Project Requirements: Ensure that project requirements are gathered and analyzed by the projects department, define the project management structure, and oversee teams of specialists.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, open to direction, and committed to getting the job done.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate current systems and procedures for continuous improvement and update management regarding progress and areas in need of improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare periodic written reports for department managers regarding project status and keep senior managers informed of project direction and renegotiate direction as necessary.
  • Presentation: Make presentations regarding project direction and recommendations to senior department/division managers.
  • Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of standard operation procedures and ensure that operational objectives are measurable and specific.
  • Monitoring: Monitor events as determined in the monitoring and communication plan and update the plan as required.
  • Leadership: Provide the required leadership at various construction levels, identify, suggest, and implement corrective action to improve quality, and monitor key staff for the quality and timely execution of the project.
