We are seeking a skilled Civil Planning Engineer to oversee and enhance project scheduling and execution strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive project timelines and ensuring that all milestones are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and secure approval for the Baseline and Recovery Programs from stakeholders.
  • Maintain a presence on-site during construction phases to monitor progress.
  • Create look-ahead schedules and manage the tracking of material deliveries.
  • Ensure project schedules align with execution strategies and that milestones are realistic and attainable.
  • Generate S-Curve diagrams and manpower histograms to assess feasibility.
  • Draft reports for delay events and promptly communicate impacts to stakeholders.
  • Prepare Extension of Time documentation utilizing appropriate delay analysis techniques.
  • Conduct resource planning and forecasting for various project activities.
  • Evaluate and compare earned value against actual and planned metrics, reporting findings through CPI and SPI.
  • Analyze schedule variances and implement corrective actions for any identified negative trends.
  • Compile weekly and monthly project reports and client presentations, ensuring compliance with management requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the UAE construction sector.
