Summary:
The Guest Services Ambassador serves as the first point of contact for our guests and is responsible for creating an outstanding guest experience. They are tasked with ensuring a welcoming, friendly, and efficient environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Interaction:
    • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the premises.
    • Listen to and address guests' concerns, ensuring they feel valued and taken care of.
    • Provide information regarding our facilities, services, and local attractions.
  2. Reservations and Bookings:
    • Handle reservation requests; make adjustments to existing bookings as needed.
    • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
  3. Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
    • Ensure front desk area is neat, presentable, and equipped with all necessary materials.
  4. Communication:
    • Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls.
    • Relay guest feedback to relevant departments and management.
  5. Problem-Solving:
    • Address and resolve guest complaints, providing compensation as needed.
    • Coordinate with security and other departments in case of emergencies or special requests.
  6. Sales and Promotion:
    • Provide guests with information on promotions or packages, upselling when appropriate.
    • Promote and sell company services and amenities to guests.
  7. Liaison Duties:
    • Collaborate closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure apartments are prepared and meet quality standards for guest arrival.
    • Work hand in hand with property managers to uphold property standards and resolve any issues.
    • Quickly address and resolve any guest-related issues during their stay by liaising with housekeeping, maintenance, or other relevant departments.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in hospitality management is a plus.
  2. Prior experience in guest services or hospitality is advantageous.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle high-stress situations.
  5. Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation software.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
  7. Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  8. Familiarity with local attractions and services is desirable.
