The Guest Services Ambassador serves as the first point of contact for our guests and is responsible for creating an outstanding guest experience. They are tasked with ensuring a welcoming, friendly, and efficient environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the premises.
- Listen to and address guests' concerns, ensuring they feel valued and taken care of.
- Provide information regarding our facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Reservations and Bookings:
- Handle reservation requests; make adjustments to existing bookings as needed.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
- Ensure front desk area is neat, presentable, and equipped with all necessary materials.
- Communication:
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls.
- Relay guest feedback to relevant departments and management.
- Problem-Solving:
- Address and resolve guest complaints, providing compensation as needed.
- Coordinate with security and other departments in case of emergencies or special requests.
- Sales and Promotion:
- Provide guests with information on promotions or packages, upselling when appropriate.
- Promote and sell company services and amenities to guests.
- Liaison Duties:
- Collaborate closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure apartments are prepared and meet quality standards for guest arrival.
- Work hand in hand with property managers to uphold property standards and resolve any issues.
- Quickly address and resolve any guest-related issues during their stay by liaising with housekeeping, maintenance, or other relevant departments.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in hospitality management is a plus.
- Prior experience in guest services or hospitality is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle high-stress situations.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with local attractions and services is desirable.
