As a key member of our pricing and procurement department, you will be responsible for managing high volumes of air freight and sea freight inquiries, ensuring the quality of quotes and proposals, and driving conversion targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Freight Pricing and Procurement: Effectively manage freight pricing and procurement processes, leveraging your expertise in breakbulk, air, and sea freight to secure competitive rates.
  • Quote Management: Ensure the quality of quotes and proposals, following up on quotes to meet conversion targets and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Take ownership of procurement processes, analyzing customer data to develop a deep understanding of their shipment profiles and service requirements.
  • Pricing Solutions and Analysis: Create pricing solutions for new business opportunities, utilizing financial models and optimization tools to drive revenue growth.
  • Customer and Vendor Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and vendor pricing information, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Research and Analysis: Assist with research and analysis of data to support client and management requirements, driving business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 4+ years of GCC logistics procurement experience with operational and/or commercial mindset.
  • Skills: Exposure to breakbulk, air, and sea freight pricing and rate procurement, sound understanding of carrier and airline service mapping and regions, and strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work within a fast-paced and assertive team environment, driving results and collaboration.
