Job Title: Senior Officer - Foreign Exchange Business

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Officer to join our Foreign Exchange Business team at Dubai Islamic Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the foreign exchange cash exchange business proposition and business profitability, ensuring alignment with departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Develop and execute new business ideas/propositions, cross-sell plans, process enhancements, and system enhancements to optimize business growth.
  • Branch Support: Conduct periodic branch visits to provide required business support and product training to branch staff.
  • Product Management: Own end-to-end product life-cycle (research, pilot, develop & manage) and engage with stakeholders to deliver on planned activities and timelines.
  • Customer Experience: Review and enhance customer experience through digital methods by introducing online order placement capability for buying/selling foreign currency notes.
  • Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities to enhance business profitability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders efficiently and effectively to maximize and optimize business opportunities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with approved policies, procedures, SLAs, and regulatory requirements to maintain quality standards and ensure risk mitigation.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in Foreign Currency Cash Exchange Business in a Retail Bank or Exchange House.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree.
