  6. Key Responsibilities
  7. Provide critical care to patients in emergency situations, including assessment, stabilization, and transportation.
  8. Evaluate the nature and extent of illnesses/injuries to determine the right course of action.
  9. Rescue and extricate victims of accidents or sudden illness using proper rescue and medical techniques.
  10. Communicate with medical personnel and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further treatment.
  11. Manage critically injured/ill patients by providing medical aid such as AED/Defibrillator, CPR, and stabilizing their condition.
  12. Perform peripheral intravenous cannulation and administer medications as prescribed.
  13. Administer crystalloid IV solutions and manage shock.
  14. Provide care for soft tissue injuries and control bleeding through direct pressure.
  15. Immobilize suspected fractures using spinal boards, cervical collars, and splints.
  16. Assist with pre-hospital childbirth and ventilate patients as needed.
  17. Obtain capillary blood specimens for glucose monitoring and perform cardiac defibrillation as required.
  18. Essential Requirements
  19. Internationally recognized EMT-P certification or equivalent.
  20. At least two years of experience in emergency medical services.
  21. Current licensure in country of origin and DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
  22. Fluent spoken and written English; Arabic language desirable but not essential.
