The Position

This role involves :

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Business Development:
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  3. Explore new business opportunities across corporate, entertainment, and live event sectors.
  4. Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and industry partners.
  5. Present customized production solutions to meet client needs.

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients and event planners.
  2. Understand client requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  3. Negotiate contracts and agreements to drive revenue growth.
  4. Ensure seamless client experiences from proposal to event execution.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  1. Lead, mentor, and support the sales team to achieve performance objectives.
  2. Closely collaborate with marketing, production, and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  3. Conduct sales training, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

  1. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  2. Generate regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights for senior management.
  3. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies accordingly.

Event Execution & Support:

  1. Assist in planning and overseeing major events to ensure client satisfaction.
  2. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand the company's presence.
  3. Ensure smooth handover processes from sales to event management teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 8 years of sales experience, preferably in the events, exhibition, or entertainment industry.
  3. A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  5. Leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance management.
  6. Detailed knowledge of event planning, technical production, and industry trends.
  7. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  8. Willngness to travel as required.
  9. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  10. A valid driver's license is an advantage.
