Job Title: Cluster Director of Marketing and Communications

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Cluster Director of Marketing and Communications. As a key member of our hotel's leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and communication strategies that enhance our brand visibility and market presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement annual revenue plans, marketing budgets, and forecasts to drive business growth.
  • Produce action plans to ensure revenue plan objectives are achieved, and provide advisory support to the Cluster Commercial Director.
  • Coordinate business volume growth initiatives, including advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicity, community relations, and special sales projects.
  • Create and implement special programs to increase profitability through rate optimization, occupancy growth, and local Food & Beverage and Banquet Sales.
  • Investigate potential market opportunities by analyzing sales department and front office correspondence files, guest history, and registration card files.
  • Recommend advertising strategies by analyzing market effectiveness and consulting with department heads and the advertising agency.
  • Review public relations activities to ensure high awareness of the hotel in local and national media.
  • Oversee the development of new marketing strategies, conduct market research, and review and update existing standards to ensure competitiveness.
  • Prepare, manage, and achieve the department's budget.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing and communication, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaign management and brand development.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and data analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, manage multiple projects, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a results-oriented approach.
