Job Summary
Robert Walters is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Client Onboarding Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a global team, focusing on the execution of controls required in the Client Lifecycle Management process. The successful candidate will ensure that client documentation meets all policies, standards, and applicable local legal/regulatory requirements. This role provides a unique chance to interact with a wide range of departments including Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute controls required in the Client Lifecycle Management process to ensure seamless onboarding and maintenance of client relationships.
- Ensure client identification documentation, name screening, and data capture activities meet the Bank's policies, standards, and applicable local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the PB Client Lifecycle Management framework for PB AU clients, providing expert guidance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Interact with a wide range of Front Office employees as well as Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management functions to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Uphold the highest standards of control, always keeping data integrity in mind while carrying out day-to-day tasks.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in various aspects of the account maintenance/Change-in-Circumstance processes, providing expert guidance and support to the team.
- Manage key stakeholders in Front Office, COO, Tax, Risk, Compliance, Platforms, and IT from Australia locations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Perform data capture and validation in the Client Relationship Management system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant client account maintenance experience within Banking (Private Banking experience is preferred).
- Experience in liaising with offshore teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and create reports.
- Ability to uphold the highest standards of control, always keeping data integrity in mind while carrying out day-to-day tasks.
- Knowledge of Tax topics like FATCA and AEI, Investment Suitability, and other mandatory requirements to ensure all accounts satisfy the required regulatory and policy standards.
- SOW/SOF and Institutional KYC experience to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
