Job Overview
International Data Corporation (IDC) is seeking a proactive individual to drive registration and engagement for our conferences and events across the Middle East. The Conference Assistant role requires a combination of marketing acumen, sales tele-calling, and customer service skills to build and nurture relationships with attendees and potential leads.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively secure registrations through telephone follow-ups and provide insightful reports on registrants' demographics, industries, and other key metrics.
  • Track and analyze attendance trends to optimize outreach strategies, following IDC's guidelines.
  • Liaise with attendees, including C-level executives, government representatives, and other high-profile individuals.
  • Do follow-up and reminder calls to registrants, answer inquiries, and provide event information in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Build lasting relationships with attendees and prospects to foster loyalty and continued engagement with IDC events.
  • Utilize a marketing mentality to identify and capitalize on lead-generation opportunities across various channels, including digital, social media, and email.
  • Develop and maintain a well-organized and detailed contact database for IDC events.
  • Gather feedback from attendees to enhance the event experience, identifying opportunities to improve content, services, and attendee satisfaction in future events.

Qualifications
  • Professional verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey messages in a polite, engaging, and motivating way.
  • Native Arabic and fluent English skills are mandatory, as you will be supporting IDC Events in the whole GCC region.
  • Understanding of marketing principles, including audience segmentation, lead generation, and engagement strategies to drive registration and attendance.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, such as sales tele-calling, marketing support, or customer service, with a strong focus on relationship-building and lead generation.
  • Proficient in internet research and Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
