Country Sales Director - International Consumer Goods

This role involves leading the country sales team to achieve optimal distribution penetration and in-store visibility for our FMCG products.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with local distributors' management to develop and implement plans for building up weighted distribution in each region, city, or town.
  2. Work closely with distributor's local management to create and execute in-store visibility strategies, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
  3. Drive the development and execution of annual marketing plans in alignment with the company strategy and regional marketing team's guidelines.
  4. Lead key account management efforts to enhance share of shelf versus competitors and amplify product visibility impact on consumers.
  5. Establish and communicate KPIs for trade and consumer-related projects and activities, monitoring progress and reporting achievements against set objectives.
  6. Maintain optimal stock levels, considering sales growth resulting from promotional activities.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in sales and/or marketing management within the FMCG industry, preferably in impulse-driven product lines.
  • Prior experience in Key Account Management, Trade Marketing, Sales, and Distribution is crucial.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required. Experience with SAP is beneficial.

Education:

A bachelor's degree in business with a focus on marketing or finance is preferred.
