Roles and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Sales professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As a Director of Sales, you are responsible for monitoring sales production and adjusting sales activities to achieve planned goals within your region in order to deliver qualified leads and service existing accounts. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

  • Monitor sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage, and sales priorities as necessary to achieve planned goals.
  • Plan, establish goals, and administer Outbound Sales Office function to deliver qualified leads and service existing accounts.
  • Develop active communication and close rapport with local authorities such as tourism boards, convention bureaus, airlines, Rotana area sales offices, and other sources of sales information and support.
  • Assess group business to maximize contribution from available public space and generate room revenues while achieving banqueting budgets.
  • Develop annual sales department budget and execute the sales programs and activities within it, assisted by Superiors.
  • Identify sources of individual business and allocate the resources to develop relationships with them.
  • Ensure understanding of position requirements, goals, and standards of performance of the sales department.
  • Review and finalize corporate section of the month-end sales report prior to submitting it to the concerned.

Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should hold a bachelor's degree in sales and be computer literate with effective and outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Sales Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
    • Identify key market segments and create strategies to attract and retain clients from these segments.
    • Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies to stay competitive.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and other stakeholders.
    • Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and presentations to promote the property's offerings.
    • Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Revenue Generation:

    • Drive revenue through proactive sales efforts, including selling rooms, event spaces, and other services.
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue and profitability.
    • Collaborate with the revenue management team to set pricing strategies and optimize yield.
  • Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
    • Analyze sales data and prepare reports to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies.
    • Monitor competitor activity and adjust plans to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the operations and banquet teams to ensure client requirements are met.
    • Share feedback and insights with other departments to enhance guest experiences.
  • Event Sales and Coordination:

    • Promote and sell the property's event spaces for corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings.
    • Work with clients to understand their event needs and provide tailored solutions.
    • Coordinate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Reporting and Administration:

    • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
    • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for the sales department.
