Position Overview

As the Technical Presales Director, you will be pivotal in advancing Optasia's business model and ensuring an exceptional customer journey. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of technical presales experts, offering technical insights and support throughout the sales cycle. You will work closely with both commercial and engineering teams to grasp customer requirements and devise customized solutions. Your extensive technical expertise and familiarity with the fintech sector (including mobile wallets and lending) will be crucial in securing deals and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of technical presales professionals, providing training and support.
  • Collaborate with sales and product development teams to identify customer needs and create tailored solutions.
  • Deliver technical expertise during sales presentations, demonstrations, and discussions.
  • Conduct detailed technical product demonstrations to highlight Optasia's capabilities and address client inquiries.
  • Engage in customer meetings to uncover needs and effectively communicate Optasia's value proposition.
  • Work collaboratively with clients during the solutions consultancy and design phases.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including both potential and existing clients.
  • Prepare detailed technical solution descriptions for client projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project implementation teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in technical presales or a comparable role, ideally within the telecommunications or mobile wallet sectors.
  • Robust technical foundation and understanding of AI platforms, scoring mechanisms, and financial decision-making processes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience, with a track record of guiding technical teams.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities, adept at understanding customer requirements and crafting tailored solutions.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings and presentations.
