Sofitel Dubai Downtown offers a unique chance to join a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen team as a Sous Chef Manager. As a key member of the culinary department, you will play a vital role in shaping the dining experience for our guests. With a focus on delivering exceptional food quality, presentation, and service, we are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team.

The successful candidate will have eight to ten years of experience in cooking and supervision, with a proven track record of achieving excellent results and leading teams to success. Strong leadership, training, motivation, and communication skills are essential for this role. Proficiency in English is required, and a second language is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate the kitchen team to achieve outstanding results and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Plan and coordinate kitchen operations, including inventory management and supply chain logistics.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on kitchen performance and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
