Key Responsibilities
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Set tables according to the type of event and service standards, creating a visually appealing and inviting atmosphere.
  • Answer questions on menu selections, providing expert recommendations and ensuring that guests' needs are met.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Record transactions in our MICROS system at the time of order, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, and other equipment throughout the day, adhering to high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, and ensuring that all areas are secure and ready for the next day.
  • Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments, ensuring a smooth and efficient payment process.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience in a food and beverage service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the pool and beach areas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience in a food and beverage service environment.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
