Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Governance: Develop, test, and maintain discipline processes and procedures in line with Wood policies and requirements, providing guidance on regulatory and legislative issues related to their discipline.
  • Intellectual Property Management: Manage discipline manuals and other intellectual property owned by the discipline.
  • Software Development: Develop and maintain the relevant discipline software tools in line with Wood policies and procedures.
  • Project Delivery Assurance: Support Project Delivery Assurance as required – including a system of reviews and assurance activities on projects.
  • Process Improvement: Highlight shortcomings in discipline processes, systems, and procedures and implement appropriate improvements using established change management practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: ISCED Level 6 / Bachelors (minimum) or Level 7 / Masters (preferred) degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional Certifications: Chartership with a relevant professional body / Professional Engineer License or equivalent is an advantage.

Skills and Experience:

  • Engineering Delivery: Extensive broad and deep experience of engineering delivery in one or more relevant industry sectors.
  • Discipline Engineering Tools and Processes: Expert level experience and understanding of discipline engineering tools and processes.
  • Business Acumen: Broad understanding of the business drivers for relevant industry sector clients.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
