To support our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Retail Development Manager.
About the Role
We are looking for a strategic thinker to support the Group Retail Director in setting goals and objectives for the expansion of our retail showroom portfolio. You will collaborate with the retail management team to develop and implement key initiatives while working closely with stakeholders to create innovative showroom concepts.
Your responsibilities will include building strong relationships with property agents and landlords, negotiating potential showroom locations, and managing the entire showroom opening process. You will ensure that openings are delivered on time and within budget, coordinating closely with merchandising, marketing, product development, purchasing, IT, talent management, and retail teams.
Your Responsibilities
As a Retail Development Manager, you will be responsible for tracking progress, preparing business development reports, and presenting updates to senior management. You will also work with the talent management team to identify staffing needs, oversee recruitment, and manage training for new showroom staff.
You will partner with the Marketing team to plan and execute showroom openings and events to foster client relationships and enhance brand visibility. Additionally, you will drive collaboration across departments, contributing to go-to-market strategies and initiatives.
About You
We are looking for a senior-level leader with a robust background in business development and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. You will have excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
You will be entrepreneurial, passionate, and driven, with outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple activities under pressure and adapt swiftly to a fast-paced environment. A deep understanding of market trends and the industry landscape will be crucial for your success in this role.
