Role Summary

The Sales Engineer – Controls Systems is a key role reporting directly to Sales Director - C&S.

This role emphasizes bringing in business through AMC contracts, L&M jobs, retrofit jobs, and control optimization and digital solution selling to drive the growth of business for Service Department for Building Technology and Solutions with particular focus on Controls & Digital solutions.

As a member of the self-driven team, you will work within an environment that provides a platform and resources for you to learn and use your experience to generate new business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. You will have an understanding and knowledge of our product portfolio among BMS solutions and work closely with customers to meet their expectations to close new opportunities.
  2. You will qualify and work closely along with our internal pre-sales expertise to have the right techno-commercial solutions for the projects with customers.
  3. Prepare technical and commercial proposals for customers and direct tenders.
  4. You will demonstrate your expertise by differentiating Johnson Controls, leveraging your market understanding, sales strategies, products, and services.
  5. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and identify ways to anticipate customer needs.
  6. You are determined and consistent in your approach to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously by planning and time management skills.
  7. You will do extensive stakeholder mapping for strategic accounts to enable business growth within JCI installed base and expand our presence in these accounts.
  8. You will adhere to company processes, compliances, and policies, with zero tolerance, while executing professional responsibilities.
