About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Strategist to join our team at the Client of S&K HR Consulting. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for overseeing pricing models, contract management, and commercial negotiations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive and profitable commercial strategies for smart city projects. You will work closely with the Business Analyst, sales, and technical teams to ensure that all proposals and projects are financially sound and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Development team in developing and reviewing pricing models for smart city solutions and other emerging technologies.
  • Prepare cost estimates, financial projections, and profitability analysis for smart city project proposals.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and commercial terms to ensure alignment with project requirements and company objectives.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that pricing, terms, and deliverables are aligned with client needs and expectations.
  • Conduct market analysis to determine competitive pricing and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Support negotiation processes, ensuring that commercial terms are favourable while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Monitor and track project financials, budgets, and milestones, ensuring that commercial goals are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or financial analysis, with exposure to technology-driven projects preferred.
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing pricing models, contracts, and cost estimates.
  • Strong understanding of business and commercial principles, particularly in the tech or smart city sectors.
  • Previous experience working on proposals and contracts related to large-scale projects or technology solutions.
  • Experience in project management and commercial negotiations.
