Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring timely and accurate deposits and reporting of US Federal, State, Local, and County unemployment and backup withholding taxes.
  • Providing support for tax audits and performing system testing of new authorities, tax types, pay elements, tax rules, and rate changes.
  • Assisting with state registrations and multi-state reporting.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business equivalent.
  • Knowledge of payroll information systems, business application systems, and personal computer skills.
  • At least 2 years of experience working within a payroll or tax environment.
