We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our team at JACOBS. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects by developing and maintaining project schedules, cost breakdown structures, and earned value reports.
Key Responsibilities- Project Schedule Development: Develop project schedules to ensure alignment with contract requirements and ensure that all projects within the portfolio are closed out appropriately.
- Cost Management: Develop and maintain cost breakdown structures, including Estimate at Completions, and ensure accuracy and representation of reality.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and publish earned value progress reports, and update regional dashboards for schedule and cost information.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that project compliance activities, such as Revenue Recognition and Contingency Management, are completed as per the specified schedule, and maintain the project-level Risk Register.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Prepare and issue internal and client weekly and monthly project status reports, and attend project reviews to prepare related reports.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent project management skills, including experience with project schedules, cost management, and earned value reporting. You will also need to have strong analytical and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
