As Director-Corporate Banking Group, you'll have the opportunity to drive business growth by managing and developing large account portfolios and client relationships in the CBG segment.

Job Purpose
  • To manage and grow assigned portfolio in the CBG segment, improving service quality levels and supervising subordinates' day-to-day activities and client interactions to ensure objectives are met and revenue targets achieved.

Key Accountabilities:

Client and Market Analysis
  • Participate in financial analysis conducted on clients and industries/markets to identify potential opportunities and risks.
Client Relationship Management
  • Originate new business opportunities with target clients across banking products, examining and resolving credit, market, and operational risk aspects in collaboration with product and enablement units.
  • Pitch, review, negotiate, and conclude deals, maintaining credit quality of client relationships within the portfolio to an acceptable level set by bank management.
  • Achieve individual and team financial performance targets, identifying and developing cross-selling opportunities and increasing cross-sell ratio with key clients.
  • Ensure account plans are prepared and maintained for all key clients, ensuring all clients' files/documents are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain satisfactory audit results on the portfolio, attending on- and off-the-job training programs for continuous learning and development.
Day-to-Day Activities
  • Assist unit head/line manager in day-to-day administrative and transactional activities such as client calls, documentation follow-up, updating pipeline, and other tasks to ensure continuity of work and delivery of effective outputs.
  • Manage and follow up on KYC and compliance requirements to ensure consistency with bank's policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field; master's degree in business administration is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in corporate banking (coverage).
