We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation and Production: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the set standards and qualities, including daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef or Executive Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Quality Control: Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks and maintain the highest standards of quality.
- Training and Development: Instruct and lead subordinates through their daily requirements in food preparation, actively participate in set up and supervising of buffets and special functions, and guide and train subordinates on a daily basis to ensure high motivation and economical working environment.
- Cost Control and Efficiency: Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control to ensure optimal kitchen performance.
- Event Support: Consult and check on daily requirements, functions, and last-minute events to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
