Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Manage daily inventory tasks, including ordering, receiving shipments, and stocking products.
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, reflecting our company's commitment to customer satisfaction and creating an enhanced shopping experience.
  • Store Operations: Support in-store operational responsibilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Assist with merchandising and inventory management, ensuring that all brands are represented on the selling floor and that stock levels are at the appropriate level to drive business.
  • Record Keeping: Assist store management with accurate monthly records regarding damages, inventory adjustments, and responsible for yearly physical inventory procedure.
  • Sales and Business Development: Assist with developing and executing short and long-term plans to achieve sales goals in support of the store's business strategy and generate repeat business.
  • Point of Sale Procedures: Responsible for all daily POS procedures and monthly reconciliation in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
  • Company Policies: Adhere to the L'Oréal Company policies and procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Highly resourceful, flexible, and able to solve problems in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Entrepreneurial and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent entrepreneurial, problem-solving, and analysis skills.
  • Flexibility: Willing to work a flexible schedule, including extended business hours, Saturdays, and vacation coverage.
  • Saturday Schedule: January-September: Saturday schedule includes working a minimum of one per month with a second opening one month each quarter and flexibility for additional openings as business needs dictate. October-December: A minimum of three with flexibility as needed.
  • Experience and Education: 1-2+ years of retail experience, High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use computerized point of sales system, basic computer skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding customer service, written, and verbal communication skills, professional and neat appearance for retail environment.
  • Travel Requirements: May require local travel for assignment at another Company Store location if needed, travel out of state required for training meeting.
  • Physical Demands: Regular lifting of up to 40 lbs. required, with regular squatting, kneeling, bending, and extended periods on your feet.
