The Housekeeping Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Servicing daily assigned rooms as per MHI standards.
  • Providing helpful, friendly, prompt and personalized service to customers.
  • Attending to all guest requests within 10 minutes.
  • Maintaining hygiene, maintenance, and cleanliness of the area under control.
  • Ensuring safety and security of guest's and Hotel's property.
  • Checking for any room discrepancies as per SOP.
  • Ensuring effective utilization of resources.
  • Maintaining records pertaining to the section.
  • Depositing lost and found items at the housekeeping desk on the same day.
  • Coordinating with the mini bar team for amenity and in-room services.
  • Maintaining all equipment, carpets, and fixtures.
  • Training the general cleaning team.
  • Contributing towards team cohesiveness.
  • Interacting with guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Ensuring proper handling and storage of chemicals.
  • Taking measures to conserve energy and eliminate waste.
  • Adhering to grooming standards of the Hotel.
  • Coordinating with engineering team and other departments.
  • Carrying out inventory of fixed and current assets.
  • Attending all assigned training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year work experience as a Room Attendant.
  • Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products.
  • Good physical health and stamina.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • High school diploma is a plus.
