About the Role

As a key member of our team at JobsInLogistics, you will play a critical role in managing the proposal pricing process, developing pricing models, and completing customer price pages. You will work closely with our Directors of Business Development, Operations, and other Corporate staff to complete pricing models and review cost trends.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies using advanced Excel spreadsheet-based bid models.
  • Collaborate with multiple managers in Business Development to develop pricing for active proposals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Develop pricing proposals with limited information on tight deadlines, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain bid model inputs as the economic environment or corporate policies change, ensuring adaptability and flexibility.
  • Analyze differences between budgeted and actual costs relating to new business, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Maintain deadlines imposed by customers and internal staff, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Schedule bid reviews with Senior Managers and provide necessary backup for pricing proposal assumptions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Assist in developing pricing strategies and standards, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Requirements

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with expertise in bid modeling and data analysis.
  • Self-motivated professional with high-level prioritization skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership and customer communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple managers, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
