Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Associate to join our team at First Abu Dhabi Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the client-facing front office function for Relationship Managers of Private Banking and Key Client Group UAE office(s).

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Provide exceptional support to customers onshore & offshore with Credit Lending Facilities and ensure timely resolution of their queries.
  • Business Planning: Assist the Business Planning and Strategy team in preparing weekly/monthly reports, including the monthly sales report for the Relationship Manager(s).
  • Operations: Coordinate with Operations team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth processing of client applications and obtain necessary documentation.
  • Investment Execution: Work with the Investment Desk to execute customer investment-related requests and monitor leverage coverage, maturities, and interest repayment.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Relationship Managers, Operations team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services to customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Preferably a university degree in business, languages, economics, or marketing.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Arabic; French would be an added advantage.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in core banking systems and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment conducted in an office setting. The job holder must be a presentable, self-motivated person with good interpersonal, communication, relationship, and multilingual skills. The person must be a strong character coupled with good manners & discretion who can handle difficult personalities (male & female) without aggression.
