About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team at the Radisson Hotel Group. As a key member of our Meeting and Events Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Smooth Running of the Meeting and Events Department
    • Ensure all aspects of the client and guest experience are delivered to the highest levels.
  • Improve Guest Satisfaction and Comfort
    • Work proactively to deliver a positive and timely response to guest enquiries and problem resolution.
  • Deliver on Plans and Objectives
    • Meet and exceed meeting and events initiatives and hotel targets.
  • Supervise the Meeting and Events Team
    • Foster a culture of growth, development, and performance within the department.
  • Ensure Cost Control and Inventory Management
    • Accountable for ensuring costs and inventory are controlled, and productivity and performance levels are attained.
  • Build and Maintain Effective Relationships
    • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Ensure Compliance with Legislation and Best Practices
    • Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation, and due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered, and documented for internal and external audit.
Requirements
  • Experience in Meeting and Events
    • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
  • Strong Supervisory and Managerial Skills
    • Strong supervisory and managerial skills, with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
