About the Job:An opportunity has arisen for a Front Office Team Lead to join Jumeirah Mina Al Salam. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Motivate and guide the team to achieve organizational and departmental goals, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Develop and implement a timeline to achieve targets, prioritizing tasks and resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Delegate tasks to team members, empowering them to take ownership and responsibility for their work.
- Lead the team by example, demonstrating compassion, honesty, and integrity in all interactions.
- Brief staff regarding duties before shift starts, ensuring they are up-to-date on all directives and expectations.
- Compile and advise on duty rosters, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate filing systems, providing valuable insights and data to inform decision-making.
- Report operational problems, conflicts, incidents, or irregularities to the Supervisor, highlighting any technical glitches or areas for improvement.
- Deal with guests' enquiries and complaints professionally, recording relevant details and notifying the Supervisor.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Luxury Hotel Front Office, with a proven track record of success and leadership.
- Knowledge of Property Management Systems (preferably Opera) and Stores Software, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Proficient in Business Level English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential) with knowledge of an additional language (Desirable).
