We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Facilities Management Engineer to join our team at Ghobash Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities management department, ensuring that all aspects of property operations are managed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Management
    • Manage and oversee the work of technical teams to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment, tools, materials, and spares to ensure that they are properly managed and utilized.
    • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Prepare and present proposals and estimates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Manpower Recruitment and Training
    • Assist in the selection and recruitment of new employees.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Finance and Procurement
    • Manage and analyze financial data to ensure that expenses are properly tracked and reported.
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure that goods and services are sourced efficiently and effectively.
    • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that the best possible prices and terms are obtained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in facilities management in the UAE.
