About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Vessel Operation Manager to join our team at Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of our fleet of vessels, including crew management, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
- Monitor vessel performance and make recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair of vessels.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of vessel crew members.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in vessel operations management, preferably in the marine industry.
- Strong knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance, and repair.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, a comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to work with a talented team in a fast-paced environment.
