Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Income Auditor to join our team at Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit Sales Summaries: Conduct thorough audits of sales summaries from all income-generating departments to ensure that all transactions are properly supported and reconciled.
  • Investigate Discrepancies: Investigate all discrepancies and inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments and corrections.
  • Audit General Cashiers Report: Audit the General Cashiers Report and reconcile the report of cash received with total collections and bank-validated deposit slips.
  • Prepare Daily Operations Report: Prepare the Daily Operations Report for the Financial Controller's update and perusal.
  • Conduct Surprise Physical Count: Conduct surprise physical counts of all house funds at least once a month and report any discrepancies to the Financial Controller.
  • Verify Cash Register Readings: Ensure the correct reading of cash registers and prepare the Register Reading Summary.
  • Inspect Paid-Out Vouchers: Inspect all paid-out vouchers, allowances, and miscellaneous vouchers for accuracy and proper explanations and level of approvals or authorizations.
  • Compute Surplus or Shortages: Compute and report on the surplus or shortages of cashiers.
  • Prepare Management Reports: See to the preparation of other management reports required.
  • Account for Missing Checks: Ensure that all missing restaurant, bar, and miscellaneous checks are being satisfactorily accounted for by the Chief Outlet Cashier.
  • Conduct Surprise Checks: Perform surprise checks on all outlet cashiering stations.
  • Conduct Preliminary Selection Interviews: Conduct preliminary selection interviews of candidates for positions in the section, taking into account the standards of personnel quality required by the Hotel.
  • Conduct Orientation for New Hires: Conduct orientation for new hires for the section, advising them in writing of the standards against which their performance would be evaluated.
  • Initiate Recommendation or Misconduct Notices: Initiate recommendation or misconduct notices.
  • Appraise Performance of Subordinates: Appraise the performance of subordinates every six months and recommend appropriate action based on the results of rating.
  • Identify Training Needs: Identify training needs of personnel in his/her section.
Requirements
  • 3 Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the same position.
  • Knowledge of Hotel Accounting: Knowledge of hotel accounting.
