  • Provide comprehensive technical support for all hardware and software utilized within the hotel, including computers, printers, POS systems, and property management systems.

  • Establish and uphold security measures to safeguard the hotel’s IT systems against cyber threats.
  • Develop and implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect vital data and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Assist in the acquisition of IT resources, including vendor research and budget alignment.
  • Deliver training and technical assistance to hotel personnel on the effective use of IT systems to boost productivity.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and inventory of all IT assets and configurations to streamline troubleshooting and future upgrades.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices concerning IT security and data privacy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in IT support, ideally within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are advantageous.
