About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Media Director to lead our team in delivering innovative and ambitious plans that drive client objectives and key performance indicators.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital media and ecommerce, with a strong background in media buying, PPC, and programmatic advertising. They will be proficient in analyzing performance metrics and have a proven track record of leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client activity to deliver innovative and ambitious plans that drive client objectives and key performance indicators
  • Support the management team to ensure the team is working to deliver best-in-market results
  • Liaise frequently with trading counterparts to ensure plans align with trading priorities
  • Connect with internal and external networks to deliver against one operating model, considering internal products when delivering planning solutions to clients
  • Seek understanding of clients' fee models to maximize business revenue
  • Identify business development opportunities from within the existing client portfolio and prospective clients, focused on delivering internal revenue
  • Play a key part in client pitches, delivering market-leading planning responses
  • Support and coach the team to ensure they work to their full potential
  • Develop best practice and more efficient ways of working to ensure it is followed by the team
Requirements
  • Previous experience in media agencies, handling retail ecommerce clients is highly preferable (q-commerce and online food delivery)
  • Extensive experience in digital media and ecommerce
  • Proficiency in media buying, PPC, and programmatic advertising
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with A/B testing and CRO
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
