Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees.
  • Keep records of opening and closing check sheets.
  • Keep records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance.
  • Evaluate the supply and availability of stocks and profit margins.
  • Implement measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.
  • Monitor shelves, stocks, and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.
  • Investigate market trends and offer suggestions to the retail manager for introducing products in demand.
  • Maintain opening and closing checklists.
  • Address customer requests, comments, and complaints.
  • Motivate employees to achieve targets.
  • Train new staff members and schedule shifts.
Requirements:
  • Flexible with shift timings and day-offs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualifications.
  • Good command over English.
  • Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
  • Competency in retail management software.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and Word.
  • Familiarity with applicable labor laws and retail health and safety standards within UAE.

Salary budget: AED 5000 to 6000 fixed plus incentive (working on the incentive scheme) - no accommodation and transport.
