Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certification Completion Specialist to join our team at Wood. As a key member of our commissioning services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with Commissioning Team: Collaborate with the Hook-up and Commissioning Supervisor and Start-Up Manager to ensure seamless coordination of mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Custody of Critical Documents: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of signed check sheets, testing procedures, and project certification documents.
  • CMS Application Management: Ensure the CMS application and supporting documentation are in place and compliant with Wood Commissioning Services and client project objectives.
  • Data Management and Population: Populate the CMS database with engineering deliverables and defined system limits, including assigning discipline check sheets and assembling system dossiers.
  • Project Certification Library Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date project certification library.
  • Liaison with Stakeholders: Liaise with construction focal points, commissioning discipline leads, and client management to ensure certification issues are addressed.
  • 4D & 5D Visualization: Facilitate the 4D & 5D visualization by system philosophy.
  • CII RT-364 AWP Approach: Facilitate the CII RT-364 AWP approach by system.
  • Commissioning Planning Deliverables: Manage all commissioning planning deliverables, including issue/distribution and progress control via client document management systems.
  • Weekly Progress Reports: Issue weekly CMS progress reports and data entry of completion progress in CMS.
  • Punch List Management: Manage project punch lists by identifying responsibility, categorizing necessity of repair, and facilitating punch list meetings to expedite the handover process.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate activities with other departments and staff.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish positive working relationships with immediate supervision and personnel from other departments, communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written, and be able to follow oral and written instructions.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Database Management Software: Proficiency in database management software, including GoTechnology (preferred), Omega PIMS, OCCMS, Hexagon, Zenator, CMS, Procosis, and WinPCS.
  • Engineering Asset Management: Knowledge of engineering asset management, including management of engineering asset tables and associated metadata information.
  • 3D Visualization Tools: Familiarity with 3D visualization tools, including AVEVA, Hexagon, Navisworks, etc.
  • Certification Process Expertise: Expertise in the certification process from construction, mechanical completion, pre-comm, commissioning, to start-up.
  • Data Management: Familiarity with data management, including Power BI report builder and SQL server scripting.
